Do you mean how they don't actually footjam, just use the brake and put their foot on the wheel?

in bmx terms, he is doing it differently. The "correct" way would be to step over the toptube with your forward foot and spin the frame using the back foot. I am finding it harder to get the initial spin, but its easier to land.

yeah danny does it as well, i think its more secure and safe like this when you are on that highs but it looks much better with your forward foot. Anyway i think that trick its being too abused, now everyone wants to do it droping walls. Its bored cause when the rider goes to the curb you already know its gonna do footjam whip and drop. i think now i dont want to learn it cause everybody wants to do it, its gonna be like sidehops on pure trials vids.

And another thing is he does trials and bmx moves but not mixed at all. Its like 1 clip trials 1 clip bmx, not a clip with diferent moves mixed like danny does or i think it must be to get a nice impresive vid or just creative.

he is great but didnt like how he mix the moves and landings on 360's..

If you do it with your forward foot on the tyre, it makes catching it a lot better but it also makes life a lot easier when you start doing them in spins (as in doing a 360 footjamwhip off a drop or something). You can jump into them properly which means that you can kick the spin off better, making it more straight-forward to do.

EDIT: Just watched the video. His footjam whips do look really weird (not super keen on them...) when he kicks them like that. Ali told me Danny does them like that, but this dude seems to do them in a slightly different way? In any case, I get what you mean about them being overused a bit. The trialsy stuff in that video was cool and there were some good lines, but it'd be cool if he'd tuck his 360s a bit more, especially off stuff. Just kinda looks a bit meh when you drop the back end on 3's. Filming was sweet though, and it was a nice video to look at.

Yeah really wasnt expecting a decade in there! Impressed with that. I wasnt a fan of the 360's though, they were weak like mine.. (trying to improve) they're like spins rather that proper bunny hop 3's.

Nice vid, bit slow moving I thought though

(PS, why does everyone footjam whip the wrong way?)

I prefer doing the endo to whip (danny mac way) way.. a little endo to start helps loads and makes it look good. Always used to do the bmx footjab way and never managed to get it dialed (did have it in my 2nd vid though: TRACK02 in 2006)
