craigjames
Not a huge fan of the design of the frame (tube profiles etc) but the build and the paint job look awesome

Jan Tore
Thanks for the comments guys. I think it looks pretty nice myself. Can't decide whether I like to ride it or not though. Might be that I need some more time with it. Jan Tore
Well, it's been some hours on the frame now. The frame generally feels pretty good. It's flicky and fun to ride, if not a bit to flexy. For me though, I think it's a bit short. But I can't really say that, since I haven't rode anything longer than 1080.Now, that's the short report. I might be able to add something more later, but I'm not the most experienced rider, so I don't have a lot to compare with yet.
Jan Tore
Hola again.I've got pleasant news after a bit of adjusting the stem height. Lowered it quite a bit, and it feels much better on the rear wheel now. It's acting very well in both natural and tgs. A new stem now, and I think I'm all pleased with it. Ben Swales
Aren't the Foxx frames designed for kids/younger riders? No wonder it's flexy!Still, it's a very nice looking bike!
AdamR28
Aren't the Foxx frames designed for kids/younger riders? No wonder it's flexy! The 20" Foxx is for kids, 26" is 'full size'.
Ben Swales
Ah ha. I knew that and assumed that the 26" was too (albeit slightly bigger kids!).

R&D
Really sweet bike JT - Glad to see you made a plan with the "length deficiency"!Got any idea how much it weighs? What's your wheelbase as it's set at the moment? What's your GEO as per pic?

What's your wheelbase as it's set at the moment? What's your GEO as per pic?Hi there.Weight is 10,48, so not actually lightweight.Well, problem is, it's not set at the moment. The bike is stripped. To quote Koxx: Attention: 70kg max. So basically I've bought a "kids" frame. No wonder it felt flexy.
Jan Tore
Soo, even though it might be a kids frame or whatever, I must admit that I like it. So now I'm going to build it up with a shiny new "light" spec to make it a more fun bike to ride.I've searched through the whole tartypage on the look for light, nice parts, that also yield a bit of strength I hope. The goal would be around 7-8kg.Spec list:Front brake: Echo SL hydraulic rim brake, smooth rim. What pads do I want to use?Fork: Rockman Spade, 4-bolt onlyStem: Trialtech sport forgedPedals: Try-all Ti-nesiumCranks: Rockman Lite cranks 160mmRear rim: Try-all h0leFront rim: Try-all h0leRear hub: RockmanFront hub: Rockman nondiscTyres: Supersonic tyres from Continental Tubes: Welterweight back and supersonic on the frontHeadset: Tnn enginering topcap for my Echo SL headset. Is there any other place to gain a sagnificant weight loss? And am I on the right track to receive the wanted total weight?/Jan Tore
