Would be a great help to me if as many people as possible could take part in the above poll, as it's a fairly large part of my National Diploma product research.

For updates on how the project is going, please check my other thread.

As always all comments and suggestions are more than welcome.

Thanks, Alex

are you actually making it? if so i guess steel?

whats peoples views on steel nowadays?

Nope, aluminium....still not sure between 6061 and 7005, depends on availability and weld ability really.

Outdated now i reckon, i personally wouldn't consider using steel...far too heavy when compared with modern trials frames.

Will fill it in after writing this.

You relly should've made a mod and stock one. Your results will be corrupt as the two groups are merged into one questionnaire.

Rest assured I will also fill that one in if you do it :P

Edit: Oh I see. When actually LOOKING at the options, it becomes apparent that this is only concerning stocks >.< My bad.

I think you should go with what you want and what you prefer. If you don't know what you want, then look at why not! If you go with that and it's rubbish, then you might re-think what you want, or if it's awesome you can bask in the knowledge that something you've created is awesome.

If you use average data, you'll probably end up with an average bike. :)

I think you should add another poll option for the final question. The biggest thing I look for in a new frame is the price.

Ah, that is a VERY good point...bit late though :( Cheers though Cptn.

Too true, but this is mostly for the paperwork side of things. Looks good if i can show i've researched this as well. I've already decided the Geo in my head I reckon:

1090, 40, 380, 71.5 / 72 :)

Change the CS to 390 and you've got a winner. People only chose 380 cs in the poll because almost all frames with horizontal dropouts require that CS length to get a proper chain tension. 390 feels way more stable on the back wheel and two wheels as well. Copy the Stinger Geo!
