ogre
also curiouse, are these the same alloy as the urban rims?
hdmackay
Well, I haven't had any expierences with them but if you are quite a heavy rider I HIGHLY reccommend the Urbans instead. alot of the Echo SL stuff is weak.I have the Urbans and they have had ALOT of bashing from me and it's still going strong. Borat
Don't be a fanny and get sl. A smooth rider I know has put a huge flatspot in his. Get urbans like I do. x
*Koxx hydroxx 2 Jack *
also , are they stronger than the try all hole rims ?
duncan_echo26
Go for the urban! Its indestructible! And they are meant to hold grinds well too.And if you want to keep it smooth the anodizing is amazing!
craigjames
Well, I haven't had any expierences with them but if you are quite a heavy rider I HIGHLY reccommend the Urbans instead. alot of the Echo SL stuff is weak.I have the Urbans and they have had ALOT of bashing from me and it's still going strong. It's not weak at all, its designed to meet certain criteria, as the name suggests.. super light. You cant expect a SL component to be as strong as one designed to be abused in an Urban environment! Just because it isn't as strong as the heavier, more overbuilt alternative doesn't make it weak, it's just not being used by its intended target rider or in the intended way.As stated if you don't think the part is designed for your style or level of riding then don't buy it. You've said you're a heavy rider, get the urbans, they've got a good reputation for being strong quality rims, suitable for the sort of riding i imagine you do. gage-mann
i'd say the rims are stong for the weight of them, my mate always shouts I WILL NOT BEND every time he does a drop gap with his rear sl rim on his stock, int dented yet or flat spotted and its like 3 months old, pend on how smooth you think you are and your weight but at the end of the day you just got too try stuff out
