RossTrials
unless youve got a decent vice its a bloody pain in the arse.it turns out the same way it makes it clickey sound.(I think)your gonna have to clamp the crank in and just use huge amount of force and it will eventually give way.knowing this forum someone will have a really smart and easy way of getting it off, unfortunatly im not that person.good luck Edited November 10, 2009 by RossTrials
rab shropshire
Bolt the tool to the freewheel/crankarm so the tool can't pop out, then put the bb tool in a vice and use a bar over the end of your crank for leverage and it will come of easily. If you don't have a bar just hit the crank with a large hammer lol
Jack Morton
If you have your free-wheel facing downwards so free-wheel is closest to vice, You turn your Crank arm Anti-clockwise. Also it helps if you slide a long pole or something over your crank arm as it's easier to turn to bring your free-wheel off.
Greetings
nor do i know which way they should turnStop right there and think. If it's not coming off while you're pedalling along, you need to turn it in the opposite direction to get it off.
