Fao- All Those Who Knew Nick Hobbs

Hi people,

Havent posted on the site for a long time but ive been asked to pop somthing up.

Alot of people here knew Nick Hobbs, as a riding buddy and more importantly as a friend, before a tragic accident last year cost him his life.

His sister Steph Hobbs has asked me to post up here about somthing that is happening in a few weeks.

There is a bench in memorial of Nick by Warsash Shores car park in Hampshire. Steph and her family will be planting a tree next to the bench also in memorial of Nick and for those of you that know a poem was posted up about Nick, andhis mum has chosen a few choice phrases from the poem and is having them put onto a plaque by the tree.

The tree and plaque should be there by the first week in december. And Steph and her family ask that whoever knew nick or anyone who wants to show their sympathy for the loss of a fellow rider and friend to many, that they come along and see the tree and plaque once in place.

I dont know the exact date the tree will be placed but if anyone wants to go and see it ive been told it will be up by the first week in december.

I shall update with more news once i know myself. Thank you to everyone for the support and hope that you can make it down and see the tree and plaque up by his bench soon.

If I've got the time I'd definitely like to pop up for this. I always liked Nick, was just thinking about him the other day and how strange it is to think he's not around any more.

Thanks ash, dont worry if you can make the date, aslong as people go to see it at some point it means it wont be wasted.
