Nuke Bowel
Howdy'Right, got pulled and given a fixed penalty with 3 points back in January, then got another 3 Tuesday.I have been driving since 14/9/2007, from what I can make out on the dvla website under the new drivers act if you get 6 points within 2 years you are banned. Will I be okay? If so where does that leave me of how many I can get before loosing my license...Cheers, Luke
Revolver
So the second lot of points happened recently, after you'd been driving for 2 years, which means you've got another 6 you can take before havinv your license revoked. Unless you're a real bad 'un and don't tell them.

Fishy
How rare.I was under the impression in the probation period you only had 6 points, then after the 2 years it goes up to 12?

TomN
Yup It's happen to me. I've got six points then dvla sent me a letter asking me to send back my licence and pass papers to them. And asked me to retake everything! Such a bitch.
Tom Booth
Ah right, I've always been told points where doubled in your first two years. Eitherway, the outcomes the same from 2 speeding fines in your first 2 years really....
Max Quinn
Yer they aren't doubled, but you only have a 6 point limit. So you can get 3 in the first few years an be fine, then after that your limit goes up to 12 so you have 9 more left before ban.
Dan6061
I never get caught speeding anyway, it's much easier.
