Balls Deep trials team
If you custom paint your frame will it devalue the bike when it comes to selling it ?
trialsmax04
If you custom paint your frame will it devalue the bike when it comes to selling it ?To be fair there is no reason for the bike to devaluate really. just make sure its a good job thats done. Im doing mine
Luke Rainbird
If you do a good job of it, then it won't make a difference. Hell, if it tidies the thing up you might even improve the value
Simpson
I don't like spraying frames, it's time consumming, pretty expensive (like about £20 on paints if you do it right) and genrally gives a finish which will chip if you knock it, which isn't Ideal for trials. I spent the money to get my bike done propperly, in the end cost £45 for a full strip, powdercoat and finish from EssexPowdercoating, which won't be much use to you seeing as you live in Bristol but HEY! Quality durable A*** finish. Worth every penny.
josh barker
http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/How_to_paint_a_frameThis should help if your going to spray your frame.

Simpsons talking sense here, if you can get a powder coat job for that price, do it, it'll cost very close to that for you to do it yourself to a similar standard.By the way Orange is my favorite colour and that is a really nice orange Simpson, Nioce
