LordMersey
HelloIve had another hub gone and i really dont want to buy some more spokes and end up getting a cheep hub as i just dont have the dosh.So i was wondering can i re use spokes? They are over a year old but i wont be ridding at all hard i would (for the time being) just practicing side hopes on grass most likely. (back problems)CheersJack
James Quigley
I've done it several times.Just make sure the new hub has the same flange sizes and spacing from the centre.a.k.a make sure the spokes are the correct length for the new rim/hub combo. Borat
I'm on my fourth wheel build with the same spokes on the rear, and these are onza spokes.
duncan_echo26
Over time spokes can weaken where they are in contact with the hub. As long as the spokes look in good condition it should be fine. I have done it before and its ok.
