Nic84echo
I use Rock Blue pads on my grind, they've served me pretty well, although I think the average retail @ £15 a set is pretty extortionate.Having said that, I cant remember exactly when I last changed them, and I dont get out for more than an hour or two a day at most, so cant give you much of a comparison over your Onzas. Just seems like ages since I put them on, and there's plenty of pad left (put it this way, it's been a lot longer than 5 days!).Maybe check ebay for something suitable, I got a set on there a while back for 99p. I guess noone was after pads that day!
ghostrider88
what are you doing with them?you should use trials brake for on/off braking, not like normal brakes!!!
duncan_echo26
What kind of a grind do you have!I have onza limes on a light grind and they work well in the dry and wet and have been lasting fine.If onza limes are wearing in 7 hours you must be grinding your rim too harsh for those pads.I have heard the rock blues last forever on grinds and smooth. Mr Bob
Rock blues, buy them now lol. Just as equal bite as the lgms but last so much longer. Work fairly well in the wet aswell, but they are amazing with a grind. Mine have lasted ages a good 10 months and they still have lots of life left in them! craigjames
Try all or Koxx browns on a medium grind. Couldn't agree more, my set up with this combo is amazing and the pads last for ages.
Mat Smith!!
If you drag your brake around or let it rub all the time while riding then obviously they will wear down, use your front brake when riding down hills, or walk if youve got a grind on the front, and only use your back brake when you need it, e.g on the back wheel.
