He said in his original post that he's LOST modulation, meaning that he once had it with the same setup.Have you bought new pads? Take the rotor off, whack it in the oven for 10 mins, let it cool. Put it back on, bed it back in, tighten everything again. SHOULD be ok.
Matt Vandart
Right mended now took it to bits, put it back together, re-bled cooked the rotor and pads worked, dunno what it was.Next problem:------My kids Koxx microbox. The cable discs pads keep adjusting themselves in all the time and I have to keep backing them off.One does this with a wee allen key in the hole in the bolt that do hold the arm on.Why are they doing this and how do I stop it happening? psycholist
What model are the brakes? If the adjustment is a result of the adjuster moving either loctite on the threads or some sort of locknutting arrangement (No idea if that's feasible) would be recommended. If it changes adjustment without the adjusters moving, something else must be moving. You'll probably have to dismantle the caliper to find out why though. Matt Vandart
No idea what the brakes are, some kind of try all re-brand.They are proper good otherwise, bite and hold enough for me to do pedal kicks on it.Will put picture later.
