Tomm
I have COD4 (I play online), skipped COD5 because I'm totally unconvinced by the WW2 weapons. I have obviously heard MW2 is coming out, but what's the deal with it? Is it supposed to be the bestest game ever? Can anyone convince me to buy it in two lines? Ive completed it today, Although wont be playing it online till post release. Single player is good, and some of the spec ops (like minigame) missions are mint.Thing I liked about COD4 and this is how immersive the single player campaign is, but trouble is, when playing it, it felt like I was comparing the similarities way too much, rather than just playing the game. Personally I'd wait till theres some reviews out there of the multiplayer game, as it may be just cod4 tweaked, or totally different(its got a percentage indicator on the multiplayer option) so dont know if in conjunction with the regular levels and prestiges, there will be challenges or objectives to complete. by which time some people will have traded it in, and youll be able to save a few quid buying it pre owned. From playing spec ops missions, which I can only assume use very similar, if not the same maps, level design is good.but its not a huge advance in online console gaming like call of duty 4 was, so people may still end up playing that more as its what they know best (and dont want to spend 2 years reaching level 10 prestige or whatever this time around)

Last time I checked, even COD4 was still £27 pre-owned or something stupid.

Random fact: when GTA4 came out, and was sold out everywhere, I bought it off a bloke stood in hmv trying to sell it on the quiet, as hed completed it, and just wanted cash. I got it for £30, despite the fact he could of stood outside game or gamestation and charged somewhere double that for it.
