Helicoiling Help Please

One of the maggy mounts needs helicoiling. But the kit I bought, which is made by KRINO Italy/V-COIL doesn't make a good job.

Before I do my frame, I've experimented on a bit of spare aluminium and I'm not impressed with how it's turned out. When I screw in a new bolt into the helicoil, the bolt is slack. The play in it could be taken up with thread take but I'd rather take this kit back to the shop I bought it from and buy a kit that works better

Could anyone please give me advise on a make of helicoiling kit that works well?

I bought a kit of ebay. I never practised I just had a go. It was perfect so I helicoiled all 4 holes on the frame. It was an armourcoil set and was bout 12 quid. Hope this helps. Cheers neil

I was going to do it myself when mine stripped but i sent it to tarty an they done a perfect job of it .

It isn't to expensive with tarty either.
