EchoSam
My mate had this problem a couple of weeks ago when he ordered his new bike he got tnn cnc pads and an echo sl brake and the pads wouldn't stay in the slaves. They fit my magura fine though. Hes now got heatsink coust cnc pads and they fit fine. Which backings do you have? Simpson
For my rimjam V3's I had to "modify" the slaves, but only takes 3 mins with a file.
*Koxx hydroxx 2 Jack *
ive just phones up tartybikes and they said that the phat pad backings need a bit of material taken off to fit in the echo slaves as do most cnc backing. and that plastic backings fit nicely thanks tartybikes ! nek0
As for the sizing around the piston and slave cylinders, if you're talking in mm specs, yes they are different but not so significant. The piston nipples (if that's what they're called) is slightly different shape so depending on the CNC backings you use it may or may not fit. Although like with the TNN CNC backings you just need a bit of light grease to snap them if it's tight.

Some old Heatsink CNC backings don't fit Echo slaves. Don't know about others.
