Best tyre combination for mod is front try-all and rear monty. Lightest, grippiest, bouncyist, non pinchyist and sexyist set up. However not the best wear rate you can get out of mod tyres but the rest makes up for it. Try-all and monty rear are quite similar but monty come out on top.

This is what I hope to run on my new mod when i finally get the chance to build it.

Couldn't be bothered clicking that many options, but a Monty rear and Try-All front is easily the best combo out. Way prefer the sidewall feel on the Montys compared to the Maxxis on the rear, and you're not going to get a better front tyre than the Try-All from anyone. Just way, way better at shedding mud, gripping and resisting flats than any 'standard' tread pattern on the front.

By the way the answer to the last question was:-

Bubby

Watch the film "Bad boy Bubby" if you wanna know what I am on about.

Anyway my try all has worn pretty much out so I'm looking at this again.

I'm interested in the springyness of the monty tyre.

Is this for real? I mean is it way springyer than a try all?
