ANDY MAN Posted October 26, 2009 Report Share Posted October 26, 2009 hi there i was looking for a bit of advice on my front disk break .the break i am running is squeaking quite a lot evan when not weti have had the pads out twice and they are hardly warn at all but i made them rough but i still have the same problem any tips ???? We usually cut the bottom off a coke can (real sharp, watch yo'self), put the pads in and enough meths to just cover them, set it alight and by the time the meths has burnt off (a minute or 2?) all the oil has gone too. Why not use brake cleaner from a parts shop, removes oil, water, antifreeze and evaporates in seconds surely better than burning. Not as much fun thou.
