Jack Morton
Me and my brother were talking before and we got onto the subject of trials bikes and what it would be like to put also a 19" rim in the front of a trials bikehas anyone ever done this before ?, as I am thinking about doing it one rainy day as I have spare one rim and hub and as I have worked out I have enoughclearance in my forks to take the wider tyre Zoo forks I will get pictures up once I find the time. DannyBazz (:
course it would work (presuming your forks are spaced at 116mm) but your brakes would be off the rim, a disc would probably work though?not too sure on this, and I don't even know why you'd want to do it xxxx
Bigman
It has been done, a few guys tried it in the US, there are pictures somewhere....Adam
Greetings
course it would work (presuming your forks are spaced at 116mm)ZOO forks are spaced at 100mm, 110/116mm is the rear hub spacing.Besides, why would he want to use a rear hub, it'd be so much easier to just build the wheel up on a front hub. LukasMcNeal
Webcyclerys done it ages ago it was called double chub or dub(probably not this cause dub means 20).
Muel
It has been done, but the extra weight and the big fat tyre slowing down the steering makes the bike ride terribly, according to something I read on OTN several years ago. MiuSliS
I believe with a bit of work that is possible, but why would you want that? Edited October 26, 2009 by MiuSliS

Mark W
Adding pretty much 3/4 of a kilo of extra weight at the very furthest forward point of your bike is a really, really bad idea. That's not just in a weight weenie way, but when you're on the back wheel, you're basically putting that weight at the furthest point of your bike from your pivot point, where you'll feel it most. Considering there's absolutely no advantage to it, I don't really see why you'd bother?
