Is he using a front freewheel or a freehub?

an old hydra 220 2003

an old hydra 220 2003

it has a ft freewheel but that seems to turn. looks like it and the cranks have come unattached or somethin.

The 2003 hydra has the freewheel mounted on the rear hub and a fixed cog on the cranks it sounds to me like the freewheel is broken, as I dont think the cranks can unattach without falling of the bike.

Took the beast to my local bike shop and turns out it is the freewheel at the ft thats at fault so they have the bike and are goin to fix it this week. Getting a tensile 60 click supplied and fitted for £45 so not to bad i guess. thanks for the help guys. cheers.
