vongar_kuu
Just a quick post to see if anyone has any advice on my problem. Got some Onza Smart Guys but the steerer tube is way to long so needs to be cut down. But the internal thread for the headset doesnt go down far enough. My Hope Hed Doctors are too fat to fit in so i'm at a bit of a lossThanks

rab shropshire
Take it to any local engineering place and they could rethread it for a couple of quid. I fabricated a very small star nut out of a normal one for a set of dob magnesium forks and it worked a treat. I just ground it down till it was slightly bigger than the steerer tube, and cut some v's in it with a hacksaw only took around 10 mins and has been running for months now with no problems
