So on the way home my free wheel lock ring fell off . When I knocked my wheel out the frame after I got in ,everything fell to pieces . I'm hoping someone knows the correct order of how the pieces go back together . The pawls and springs appear the same length so it should not matter which order they go in ?anyone know for sure ?

If the lockring fell off on your ride home, and it fell to peices, its basicly a lost cause. I've only ever had afew freewheels to bits, and that was along time ago, but from what i remember, with the ammount if springs, pawls and endless numbers of ball bearings, i very much doubt everything will be there.

Your best bet would be to phone Tarty or a LBS and have a word about the arangement, or maybe try google something?

Sorry for not being much of a help

I had my old tensile apart a few times and was fine getting it back together,. Do check with tarty as to what bits you should have and what order they go back in just to be safe. Put a little loctite on the threads of the lock ring before putting it back together just to stop it undoing itself again.

yeah the freewheel basically fell of when hitting the rear wheel out.... i got all the bits and have now built it back up and loctite the lockring back on. i now my last eno had different length pawls but it seems this freewheel the pawls are the same length. i just wnated to make sure everything went back together properly .

it goes .... inner bearing , then pawls and springs( no particular order), then 2 smalle metal rings (to keep pawls flush to body) , then main ratchet body, then outer bearings, then lockring...

just incase anyone else's falls apart lol
