Hey im sean.

tips on side hop please.

do u keep the breaks locked? how to get max hight? how to do it im asking really lol thx guys

Hi mate i have been also riding for 4 months and am trying side hops to.

I have been told to just kick as hard as you can and try to get your front wheel up first and lock on your front brake.

Hope this has helped mate. :D

1) Try to set up with as little correctional/balance hops as you can,

2) Preload down by bending you knees

3) By kicking the pedals spring yourself upwards whilst sucking the bike in and over to the side that your hopping to

4) Land without the front brake on and you can roll anyway if you land slightly off balance.

That should help you.

Hi, ive been riding for ages and found sidehops impossible, until i got my head around leaning your weight.

So my tip is: once on your rear wheel try to lean your weight over the object whilst keeping the bike straight.

Within a week of figuring this out i could sidehop walls above the top of my headtube, so give it a shot! (Y)
