RossTrials
Thinking of sticking a disc brake on the rear of my Adamant A1 whats your opinion on rear discs on stocks? are magura's the way foward?
trials_pimp
Its a personal thing.Me personaly I dont kike rear discs. I dont like how they feel, and or some bikes mae the front on twang about when you hop. Some people do like rears discs and ride them well. It has been easier recently as there are now good discs around for trials bikes. If i was to ride alot of competitions I would have a dual disc bike, but for street you can beat a well set up magura. Skoze
Mine technically sucked. I liked it an awful lot, but performance wise it wasn't great - slipped if you missed things, but it taught me to be smooth with it and not rely on a superawesome back brake to make things.200mm hope mono trial, btw Edited October 18, 2009 by Skoze

King C
Thing is, you get wheel flex when using a rear disc because the spokes are longer than on mods. I think thats what puts a lot of people running them aswell.
