Simpson
For those who don't remember it, this took place in 2003! What a long way events have come from then...Do you mean to say how far down hill events have gone? because that vid looks epic!
Danny
Ohhhhhhh i remember going to that. I think that was the first time i met tart and a few others.
MikeCottTrials
I think the problem is the biggest companies in a sport usually drive things like that and our biggest company is probably under dengs belt. Deng clearly has no thought what so ever to contributing in that sort of way, he just waits for kids to dive off massive walls then gives them free stuff to film it
F-Stop Junkie
I think it's still the biggest trials event there's been in Britain, certainly outside the Bike shows...To take over the centre of Nottingham like that was just amazing. A great event to be involved with.

Luke Rainbird
I still have this video on my old hard drive - along with another from the event. We need something like this again - jam style compy formats are awesome!
Steve-A
Man that was a crazy day. Furthest I'd ever been on the train at the time. My friend Ben, who came with me, broke his bike 5 seconds after we arrived in Nottingham forcing us to walk across town. Sanding on upturned bikes on the bashplates to see over the crowds heads. Awesome riding. Met loads of cool people. Riding after the battle with DJ.The riding was mental too. Lets have another one
Revolver
The only way you could have another thing similar (talking place, rather than setup) is involving a company with the money to hire out a city's square.Setup-wise, it's easier, but still, someone needs to build the shit. grantham
class event and a class day! there were so many riders there. I remember meeting burnsy in the street and being star struck lol. Also Petr Kraus after the event. A shame there hasn't really been anything like this since. Was also the first day I met DJ

.mitch
is that Martin Kleivard? Some smooooth riding by all in there, Vince looks a little out of place though. Still, I'm sure he pulled some big stuff that the others were envious of anyway.
monkeyseemonkeydo
is that Martin Kleivard? Can't be surely... on the green Crescent? I'm sure he's way better than that.
Steve-A
I think it is Kleivard. I remember being wowed by his smoothness. Hes not really doing much in that video, but IIRC that video was filmed in the warm up/practice. Its certainly missing some of the bigger moves of the day, some of Vinces lines in the finals were huge and Et and Akkers.
