Paperclip Posted October 18, 2009 Report Share Posted October 18, 2009 just drill the crack out then theyll be no crack in your frame so itll be all fixed :| I think its pretty cool how its been drilled but kinda makes it pointless buying a gu 08 and drilling it out like that when you could just buy a lighter frame in the firstplace :/ shame about the crack. craigjames Posted October 19, 2009 Report Share Posted October 19, 2009 you do realise welding a 6000 series alu frame reduces its strength in thr weld area by about 50-80% if you don't post weld heat treat it.
