Master those skills first and set times for trackstanding lets say 2 mins to start and progress up to ... and see how many hops you can do until you can just hop for ages these skills should help you later on when you start to try pedal kicks

pedals kicks - a rear wheel hop with a kick of the cranks to propell yourself forward across up down obsticals , the pedal kick is by far the most important trick in trials ( like a ollie in skateboarding everythink revolves round the move )

You may want to practice endo's and endo 180's front wheel pivots etc

mainly just get comfortable doing those tricks and you will be on your way

There are also alot of help in this site - TrashZen.com

It has many tutorials to help you on your way

Hope i helped

Josh :D

Thats ok anytime

just to let you know if you do start attempting to pedal kick you will probally find it hard at once because there are techniques to all the moves and coming off different bikes this will feel quite odd at first but remember practice makes perfect

happy ridings
