Dan Trials Video 2

Ok so I really don't why I bothered since I can barely track stand yet but here is a video of my afternoon. In the first part the line is a 180 front pivot off a pallet onto a breeze block then a 180 on the rear wheel off the block. There were many fails but eventually I got there. The second part is my first tries at side hopping. I feel so pathetic not being able to side hop up one pallet! So with that thought please suggest how I may improve on this, and any thing else you have noticed.

Thanks for your time :)

Not bad, just keep trying. Your pritty much going to rear wheel on those side hops so im sure youll have 2/3 pallets down soon.

nice bike too!

Carl

Thanks mate, the bit Im strugling the most with is going side ways. I could go straight up, but I can't seem to go parallel.

First minute and 20 was just pointless and annoying, so for suture reference, don't do that! :)

I see what you're saying, I just wanted to portray the 'keep going when you fall off'.

Ok video there mate, but I'm with Ben on the begining. :)

Also, loose the halo combat rim on the rear. Your bike will be so much lighter to be honest.

Yeah, wheels are an issue, but so is money!

How loung have you been riding? Not bad to be honest.

Thanks man. Ive had Trials bikes for a while but not really used them as I have no one to ride with and it's hard to keep going when you can't do much and have no one to turn to. There's only so long you can keep at it on your own and when you don't progress it just gets frustrating. I'd say if you added up all the actual days I have spent on the bike trying to ride trials it would be maybe a few months. I had not touched the bike for atleast 18 months before this weekend. And then it was maybe only for a few days. I love trials but I cant seem to keep at it, its like there is something missing. That's why I thought I'd do this video a bit differently to try and get something going that I can take back to my riding. I dunno, maybe Im on the wrong road. Thanks for your comment though man :)

That was good, I like that you don't give up things. (Y)

It seems that you don't have any problem with sidehoping from 2 wheels, but you'l have to practise your balance on the rear wheel.

Try also to do the sidehop as an quick and explosive move and try to throw the weight forward more. Later on you'l see that if you land on the frontwheel first you'l be able to lift the rearwheel up to help. But in general, keep going, you'l get it soon! :)
