hi guys , just got my new frame , and the bb cup doesent want to go all the way in , the bb is tight but the cup hanging out the frame by about 1cm just wondering is it safe to ride ? and if anyone else has had this problem .

i have a trialtech square taper bb , and an 07 python frame .. that should be all you need to know .

ive tryed leaning on it with an 18 inch pole but it wont moove anymore :(

any help would be much obliged ,

i gathered that lol , but if its to far out , surley i dont need to space it out even more , im starting to think theres a rough piece of thread near the end now..

You put it in the other side, so the main section of the BB (normally mounts into the drive side), pop a spacer on there, before you put the cup in the other side.

I wouldn't use an 18" bar on it either, that's just asking for it to strip, they're only a fine thread you know....

anyway , ive built it up with the cup in dodgy and its holding up nicely , its tight , all that seems wrong is it squeeks a bit when you apply preasure to the pedals .. i can live with that though :P
