Matt Burrows
Right I am thinking about building up a comp bike, and this frame looks like spot on geo for me. Obviously it is very light and very cheap so I'm not expecting it to be very strong. Just wondering if anybody has used one and if so what they thought of it, how it rode and any problems or issues etc. I'd be buying the long one btw.Because simple
Mat Smith!!
Hope you intend on using a booster, because you'll need one.

Dan_Trials
Hmm, that would be a single speed? Comps require 6 speeds?

Barbara Logan-Price
Hmm, that would be a single speed? Comps require 6 speeds?Thats only a rule in biu rules at like british championship level, UCI rules u can have sscorrect me if im wrong
Dan_Trials
What. That frame has 116mm hub spacing and horizontal rear drop outs, making it a single speed frame, a frame which you could only run one rear sprocket on. My understanding of the regulations for trials competitions is that all stock (26" wheel) bikes must have a minimum of 6 working gears. Thats only a rule in biu rules at like british championship level, UCI rules u can have sscorrect me if im wrongAh that makes more sense. It did occure to me after posting that with the increase in popularity of SS there might have been some 'updating' of the rules.
