Plenty of people have ordered including other forums, you basically get no warranty (obviously), some dings & minor cosmetic damage and bypassing the middleman. But you can also get the wrong color parts as it happened to many...

You're basically paying for the parts, not service, no warranty, no guarantees.

I mean look at these packaging (stolen from OTN). If you think you're getting a good deal, you're taking a chance. It may be legit, it could be third-shift products or simply dinged up components that they don't sell to dealers.

I think bottom line, it's your money but there are enough information indicating you're not going to get a perfect looking frames/components and no guarantees. If something goes wrong, I'm sorry but that's your fault.

hey guys, sorry to dig up an old thread but this guy is legit. I just ordered two packages during Christmas and New Years

I am in the US so I'm not sure about import taxes to the UK but I WASN'T charged a dime for any import tax. he must ship them as a gift, taped to the outside of the "cocoon" and it was a birthday card and he had hand written (in legible writing) "Merry Christmas to my best Friend Nathan S****"

Shipping was rather fast considering the holidays here is the tracking of the package

YES the packaging was questionable and there were a few cosmetic blems on the frame from shipping or sitting in a warehouse for too long. The BB was packaged loose inside the stays of the frame and bounced around during shipping, it was wrapped in bubble wrap so it didn't do much more than a few scratches. I only paid $76 for a ZHI mod frame so I can't complain about a few nicks here and there.

I had an issue with my ZHI cranks though, both arms were threaded for left pedals and my ZOO headset was a bit rough. I contacted him and I am shipping back the cranks and H-set for replacement, he is comping my return shipping fee and upgrading me to ECHO SL cranks for free and swapping to a GU headset. I can use a USPS flat rate box and ship them back for $13 so its not huge. He asks for UPS or FedEx shipping but both those options were over $70 so I told him I am shipping USPS and he was ok with that

All I can recommend is to be very clear in your initial email.

here is my initial order email, if you do this you get what you want

Frame: 20" ZHI ZM1----------------------------------------------$76 CAD

Fork: 08 ZHI 20" fork with disc mounts-------------------------$45

headset: Zoo anodized blue--------------------------------------$27

BB: ECHO ISIS BB------------------------------------------------$30

Cranks: 09 ZHI CNC cranks ISIS 160mm Anodized blue------$96

Bashring: ZHI LB bash ring gold anodized-----------------------$18

SORRY FOR SUCH A LONG POST
