Unipsycho
Ok, now, for 65 quid I've bought a Mission Prodigy off ebay. There are a few scratches apparently (I'm yet to pick it up) and no front brake, but that's easily sorted (my sister's boyf is head of bikes at halfords) am expecting to get a disc brake obv suggestions as to which brake? Also, I've no idea if it's the standard bike or if anything's been changed, and will hopefully find out how to tell which parts are which make, but from this what would you suggest changing? Finally, if anyone has one or knows things about these bikes, is there anything I should look out for? Anything that may kill me? Thanks for any help, and hopefully I will have some help Tom

tkD
To be honest, for £65, its not really a bad deal lol! Yeah as I said in the other post, people are fond of Avid bb5's and bb7's, I wouldn't know from experience to be fair, but people seem to like them. Or get dual maggies as it has bolts for them. SuperDeathMonkey
when i had a mission prod it didn't have any disc mounts just four bolts so you may have to go for maggys anyway. this was a few years ago though so they may have changed

Unipsycho
Yep yep, so, bump a tad but yeah, I have no experience with what to get, so what brake would be best to have first before I start takign the bike apart and changing lots of things? Unipsycho
Is it gonna say what fork it is on the fork or whatever? I've often wondered how people know all these parts and stuff by sight...
