Does anyone or has anyone ever used a halo extra safe downhill tube for trials? They are 3mm think so i'd guess they are quite heavy?

If none of you recommend this inner tube which one should i think about buying how about a Hutchinson Anti Puncture Reinforced Tube, or Intense Tyre Systems Fro Tube LINK: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Categor...rentPageIndex=0

Thats the first thing, now for the second, the rear tyre, whats people running? I've got a single ply maxxis hi roller. All i can say is i hate it, i like the grip but keep getting punchers lately. any advive on a puncher proof set up?

to be honest i would worry more about how wide it is imeen if its 3 mill thick but an inch wide it needs to strech an inch an half but if its 1.5 mill but like 3 inch wide it aint gunna strech atall my maxxis one DH tube is beast

The tube rubber is 3mm thick, The tube size is 26 x 2.1

But if you think recommened the maxxis downhill tube i'll keep it in mind

Maxxis or nokian DH/freeride tubes come in 2.5" width which should be fine for single ply use. I'd get a Dual ply tyre and a normal tube, if you do pinch the tubes cost a lot less. But then the easiet way is to learn to ride smoother, i know its a pain in the ass, but i've run continental rubber queens and a single ply kenda for a combined 6 months with a cheap normal 2.1 tube and i think i punctured the conti once. Finesse.
