It really is the dogs bollocks haha! I've got a brand new, never built ZHI front hub here in fluro green. Cost me £8.50 posted.

And just bought a brand new 180mm rockman rotor, brand new Onza Mongo 2 headset, brand new CRMs and a used but very good front hope skewer for £41 including postage.

The rotor alone is £30 from Tarty. :D

How come pad manufacturers havent made a black pad yet? It would be easier to tell apart from standard maggy blacks, and would be easy to tell apart from all other pads too?

Or purple pads? Hence this topic would become redundant :P

I guess because black pads are associated with being standard...and therefore naff

In many cases black things are pigmented with carbon black, which I believe tends to have lubricating/slippery properties (as well as being very low wear).

Phat pads seem kind of purply though.
