snoolax Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 wow thats a really good steal for 20 pound! anyway i ont think anyone is too tall or too old for trails.i know a frend who rides at 45 years old so if u are younger than that u are not too old.There is a blind trails rider with videos in the net, if u can see pretty well i think u can ride too.if u think u are too tall? check out what jeff lenosky does =)anyway have fun riding! sstein Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 You should get on some rides and see what suits you, I would strongly recommend 26" but you may actually feel more comfortable learning on a 20", it is all down to preference. Like everyone else has said, if you feel this is something that you definitely will stick to then spend as much as possible.What I recommend is phoning up tarty as well as supercycles and seeing what they can sort you out with, ask if they have anything going cheap, perhaps used by one of them, most of them change bikes quite often so the bikes are often mint and very cheap.
