forteh
no i dont you fag Well i have a avid sd5 leverneon adpatersbut no arms or pads yet lolTry to avoid vee brakes with the parallel push linkages, theyre not man enough for trials and wear out very quickly. AliC recommends the recent shimano xt arms as they have the slimmest profile and theyre stiff, I can very highly recommend heatsink yellows on a light/medium grind

Cotty08
The reson your vbrake isnt as good on rear mounts is becasue with a V-brake the brake moves forward with the rim like 2mm or something but if you have it on the back it wont be able to move forward so it will just stay in the same position if you get what im saying ? toyota200x
I have tried the backwards mounts with V brakes. I first tried it with a anodized rim with std. mtb pads. There wasn't much lock at all and I didn't like the feel of it. Then I put some MOE V pads on and the lock was much better. The std. pads might have worked if my rim wasn't anodized. Overall the noise was a lot less when comparing to a front mount fork. When I tried the MOE pads on a front mount any modulation made the brake honk with noise which was anoying. Overall I don't know if there is much of a difference in power.
