mr ailsbury
Not read the whole thread so I don't know if its been said but this blog would be sorta cool as a twitter feed as well so its a bit easier to access on the go... Mark W
The thing with the blog is that we wanted to use it to put up a bunch of photos from rides and new products and all that jazz, so being restricted to 120 characters (or whatever Twitter allows now) would be pretty whack, and having to link out to pics, etc. Also, on the blog now it's super easy to find stuff on there 'cos we've got the label system on the go. It means everything archives a bit better so if you don't check back for a few day (shame on you ) then you can catch up really easily. Also, with Twitter, if there's more of a two-way conversation on the go there's the chance that it'd just get swamped with people asking questions about bike parts, orders and so on. Dan S
I saw you were playing with that D30 thing or however it is called....But what's so surprising? they have those things quite a long time already. and they sell it as a toy. That's what I am actually doing.http://www.thinking-putty.com/they come in many different names but still being the same.
Mark W
If it shatters when you hit it, it's not D30...

Muel
Pffft, dats heavy that is. Are they much grippier than a 2.2 mountain king? Cos I hear they're not up to much?
Mark W
D'you mean the Contis aren't up to much, or the Stikys aren't? If it's the latter, you heard incredibly wrong (It's also not a fully cut Try-All tyre) - Try-Alls f**king rule!
Muel
I have a cut Try-All sticky, tis sick. I meant the Conti's, I hear they're not really very grippy, just very light?Mind you my old rubber queen was insanely good, why oh why do simtras only take shitty little tyres. Mark W
I heard someone who's name escapes me that said they ran their Conti more because of how light it was than how grippy (or not) it was, so there may be something to that. Not entirely sure though, sorry!
Ali C
I asked stan yesterday what would he rather keep, his fave frame ever, or the conti rain king...... rain king won.We have a duro tester here now, rain king came in at 39A, Maxxis st at 45A and a rubber queen was 50A. Rubber queens suck!
