esfrost
ECHO sl, trust, one of the best FWs out there. 108 clicks, no wobbling, very very strong springs ---> very loud. Very tough build. Highly recommended.
peggysue
if you have the money get an eno....there amazing , or if thats to much buy the new tensile 96 click... ive just got it ... had only 2 rides on it but its feels very stiff and well built, and is getting rather loud too, well worth £47 ... Revolver
My Eno was great, the lockring came undone though but a bit of loctite fixed that.My Tensile 60ep was great, I didn't have it long but it felt like a quality bit of kit, the clicks were very firm. tkD
I've got a freewheel at the front, and I saw the cranks moving by themselves when I was pushing it. I was like "wtf is wrong with that?" Lol

Caswell_35
Does anybody know what the Echo SL freewheel is like? Or does everybody recommend the ENO and Tensile 96?Caswell
Greetings
ENO - a massive no from me. Had one and it was worse than a 5 pound Dicta.Echo SL - good freewheels

Caswell_35
Ok thanks people.Do all freewheels have the "wobble" that mine has at the moment. Because its a pain in the ass with chain tension!
Mark W
Eno, quality and if anything goes minorly wrong with it you can just crack it open see whats wrong and easily fix it.With freewheels like the Tensile though, they've got caged bearings so it's virtually the same as stripping an Eno anyway. Tensile bearings and pawls are also a fair bit cheaper than the Eno versions (Although strangely Tensile springs cost more?), so if you break anything it's a cheaper fix. Ok thanks people.Do all freewheels have the "wobble" that mine has at the moment. Because its a pain in the ass with chain tension!Open bearing freewheels will, for the most part - meaning an Eno or similar sealed freewheel shouldn't. Some are better than others for it, so generally the more you spend the less wobble you get. Your cranks and BB spindle can play a part though.I've been running my Tensile 96 for a week or so now and I've had relatively little problems - it skipped once or twice at first, but I sprayed some GT-85 through it which thinned out the thicker grease that comes in it straight from the factory, and since then it's gotten louder and hasn't skipped once. Because its a pain in the ass with chain tension!i reckon all freewheels have a bit of play... if they did not then they would probably be too stiff to turn freely, however if you have a freewheel that has a removable lockring for servicing like the eno then always make sure its tight , or like someone siad above , use a bit of loctite. if its not tight and comes loose whilst riding you could damage the freewheel pretty good mate! N.Wood
Yeah its more your cranks than anything. Threads arn't perpendicular to the axle.
