PaRtZ
At the moment Im quite a heavy tapper and I can REALLY feel the forks flexing like a slag when I tap. I know my bearings are a tad bit loose in my hub but I was wondering if a better headset makes the difference too? Ive got an FSA headset + echo urban forks... Matt Burrows
I doubt it would make any difference that you'd be able to notice, aslong as your headset is in good condition I wouldn't worry about it. Urbans are super flexy, I've just gone from Zoos to Trialtechs and the increase in stiffness is very evident!
Muel
Having a headset is a good idea yeh. It is more to do with the forks though, I've got Zoos and they're not as stiff as my Trialtechs were, they better be stronger though or I'll be writing to my MP!!! Revolver
Using a headlock might give you more stiffness, athough going on the type of steerer echo forks have, it would have to be a custom headlock.
