hi everyone , i was wondering has anyone else had a problem with koxx croco pads since they have been re released by koxx .

i used to own a pair of the original koxx blocks and i was always happy with the performance but ive bought some croco red pads and there awful , no bit no hold and no sound at all and the wear rate is bad as every-time i look down there is red dust all over the rim . needless to say i am switching to plaz pads but has anyone else had the same problem ?

The last year I've been using both yellow and brown Croco pads, and they have always been consistently reliable. There are a few combinations, tweaks and techniques that I use to make my brake good as possible. The rim that you use can also have an effort on the brakes hold and noise. I've found that echo 07 rims and all Try-all rims work perfect with the Croco pads. I've found that a very light sharp grind is best for these pads, a thin grinding disk is best for this. It would be a good idea to watch the T.N.N guide to grinding your rim. Also taking the layer of dirt off your pads after a ride will keep the performance. You can do this by using wire wool and soapy water, and then lastly grind a very thin layer of pad of to gain a sticky rough surface. (You’ll see what I mean when you do it.)

In answer to your question, I haven't had any problems with the Croco's but I haven't yet tried the red Crocos.
