Ross McArthur
Cheers guys.Watson, I shall be hoofing that booster off of you still. lol 4 bolts stiffer than 2 bolt. It's not as pogo sticky as the Boxx, not as light on the back wheel. The head angle suits me a bit better on the Yaabaa. In the pictures the rear tyre is a 2.5 single ply maxx pro Maxxis. I rode this for one day and decided to take it off. It was good for static 360s to fakie manuals but no good for gaps as the side walls are so thin! Plus, I had to run it rock solid and that made it terrible for any kind of drop.I've got a full 5 days or riding planned this September weekend, so should have some sort of video by the end of next month including riding on my 24" Marino and my Boxx.Thanks. Jason222
Whats with the chain tensioner?
Ross McArthur
Oh do you now ...Give me a shout any day but Saturday and we can hit it up!Whats with the chain tensioner? The hub spacing it terrible! The Rohloff doesn’t have a long enough spindle to reach over to the cog. It didn’t work in front of the hanger in the normal position and it wouldn’t work behind the hanger because it would hit the spokes. So, I made an 'inline Alu block'. The Rohloff is bolted to a small peice of aluminium and that is attached to the hanger giving me perfect chain line. It also means that I can run the Rohloff slammed as the jockey wheel isn’t touching the cog.

Or that the whole right hand side knobles of the tyre are cut off?I do like it so far.
