peggysue Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 i would buy a helicoil kit yourself dude. two of my threads were knackered so ordered a kit from ebay , cost about 14 quid and has 25 inserts. plenty enough for the future. only took 10 mins to fix the 2 knackered threads and was so impressed how strong the inserts are, i did the other 2 aswell. my mates thread recently went too ,so did his for him. very simple to do...
