MadManMike
Sidehops don't count. At all.
maxxis26
on - off side hop shows you have the height to get upbut you have to get up and stay up for it to count...
hdmackay
Yes. I think it's shit when people say they don't count. You've made the height. Therefore it counts.
Muel
So taps where you bounce back off count? And gaps as long as you hit the edge, but if you slide down it?If you ask me they don't count at all, the whole point of it is to get over an obstacle, and if you come back off it, you're not going over the obstacle. Matthew_Gibson
bugger clicked the wrong box. NO they dont, looks shit. if your tappin a wall and dnt make it, u aint tapped that height, there for on/off DNT count

Well. I don't see where i'm going with this. For some reason with taps and gaps I don't think it counts in the slightest if you on/offBut with sidey's I think it does.HArd to put it into words. willis-gu
basically in a comp, why would you want to on off something, when your trying to get through the gate or on the rock whatever.....also street riding when doing a on off, basically yeah it shows you have the hight, but your technique is not very good because you cant find the balance to keep it however way you mange to keep it, it may make sense, it may not
bikeperson45
If it's an intentional on/off, like they sidehopped wait, controlled it, then dropped off yes.If they instantly jump off because they can't keep it, no.
Mike Winton.
Count lmfao, course it counts but it looks shit...quite simple really.

Steve-A
I think Muel pretty much hit it on the head. If it's an intentional on/off, like they sidehopped wait, controlled it, then dropped off yes.i.e. A 'normal' sidehop, followed by a drop.If they instantly jump off because they can't keep it, no. i.e. An on/off sidehop. Greetings
It does count.I use the same rules when tapping and doing gaps. As long as the rear wheel touches the edge of the wall, it's done. Even if I fall of the bike, I don't bother doing it again. That way I've already gapped 10ft and done a 5ft tap. Muel
Well that's cheating. I could drop off a rather tall building, I'd crash and die in the process but because I landed at the bottom, I'd have made it.
Revolver
If it's a case of sidehop up, show that you've made it, and then drop off, then sure, it counts. If it's more sidehop up, and drop off because you can't hold it, that's shit.
