trialsmax04
yo guys,Im in need of some advice . I have well and truley fecked my monty cranks. Managed to rip the threads out the drive side. I am limited to square taper as i cant afford to go isis. Now i have been looking on tarty and i have seen the trialtech sport forged, and the echo forged. There about the same price so any recomendations?Next i need a new front sprocket. What sort of gearing would be best for a mod? Im running 18/12 atm and im unsure if its wise to go any lower. Also, what would be the best crankarm length? My montys were 158mm but i think id like to go longer. What are you guys running?Cheers max
Alex Dark
Personally, on my mod, i ran echo 170mm ( cnc'd ) cranks. If possible, go for some cnc'd...as the forged are kind of cheesy.

George.E
I have the TrialTech Sport cranks on square tapered an they are 160mm, they ride real nice in my opinion, not one problem with them and had them well over 6 months, mine are a bit scratched now but that must be my bad riding iv had no problem with the threads in them, they are real good.Hope this can help.George. cam217
18/12 is recomended and when it comes to crank lenght its all personal preferance in my opinion, try ride 2 different bike's with 160mm cranks and 170mm cranks and decide for your self
