Mikey-uk Posted September 16, 2009 Report Share Posted September 16, 2009 Heat the hose under a hot tap for about 30 seconds then it should slide right over.If that doesnt work then you have to clamp the close in somthing (usually blocks of wood) and hammer the barb in lightly. darrenhopper Posted September 17, 2009 Report Share Posted September 17, 2009 If you're going to do that, I suggest you clamp two blocks of wood together & drill a relief where they meet.A 4mm or 5mm drillbit should do it.Then when you clamp the hose, it will still grip but will not get squished.
