limpstevo
JuJust wondering if I could change my Echo urban setup.I wouldn't mind changing to smaller 24'' wheels.Could i just simply swap wheels over or not?
PaRtZ
nooooyou can do it for the front, change the wheel and run a disc brake and the forks wont be too different, but the rear brake wouldnt align for the rear rim so the magura would be braking on the tyre. George.E
Id like to see how that turned out and what it rode like, would be quite interesting. I have never herd of anyone trying it before.Using the discs should be ok I would think, how would it affect the geo ?, or would it affect it ? Skoze
Fair few people have done it dude! (myself included)All depends on what the geo was originally, only change is that the bb get's dropped, effectively, by 25mm. As a general rule, it just means it's not quite so smart on the rear wheel, still within the realms of trials though. Depends on your style of riding too, eg it'd work pretty badly for a TGSer, but streety riders would probably enjoy it more (i know i did - was great fun) lower bb's lend themselves to manuals, bunnyhops and spins pretty well Edited September 15, 2009 by Skoze
