The tyre is knackerd, so im wondering if its gone a bit brittle? If i change the tyre, shouldi go for the maxxiss tyre or something differnt? Tarty have echo, monty and try all, any ofthem the better?CheersMax Edited September 14, 2009 by trialsmax04
Nickkkkk
Are you sure your putting enough air pressure in your tubes? if you think it's your tyres then there's nothing wrong with creepy crawlers, some of the top riders use them, so if there good enough for them, then they should be good enough for you Edited September 14, 2009 by Nickkkkk
indianatrials
Most likely your running to low pressure, never good to run less than 12 psi or so. Most of the time like 15-18 on mods. If you can get a monty whitewall tire, they resist PF's extremely well.
MikeCottTrials
new tyre, new inner tube, and don't gap at razor edges which you can't make
trialsmax04
hmm perhaps im guilty of running them too low. I like the bouncy feeling. I might get a new creepy as mine is shot, and its the cheapest.
Duncy H
Get a front try-all tyre and a rear monty, thats the best tyre combo, even at the price you will not regret it. Also make sure you have a nice at least rear tube in
martin555
Most of the time like 15-18 on mods.I run 18 in the back with a creepy crawler and its plenty springy enough. Im 10 stone exactly. If you keep getting pinches you may want to take the tyre and tube off your rim and check for any rough spots or jagged edges. Then you can file them down or sand them a bit until there smooth. Edited September 14, 2009 by martin555
