Little Yoshi
The CITB guy contacted me today to say I wasnt allowed to take my bike to college due to health and safety reasons plus secruity reasons.I read through the booklet the college sent me and it says in there that they dont take reposnabilty for peosonal property so the secruity reason is bollocks.I am going to phone them tomor to tell them this but i shall need a good argrument to get past the H&S reason. Can anyone help me come up with one?

adamtrials
Just take it? Initially take it in a box so they don't know what it is, then after that you can suss out the security, it will probably be a lot more lax or at least circumventable than you think. If they do complain then you'll just have to be more sneaky...
PaRtZ
Swansea student village rules:Bikes are not permitted to be kept in rooms. They must be kept outside padlocked up or at the bottom of the flat under the stairs to avoid fire hazards.Didnt stop me, or anyone to be honest For inspections just move it to the right place for the day. Little Yoshi
I ahve a bike bag so planning on storing it under my bed for a few days till i can sus it out. But it will be alot better if i can just use it from the start. Im going to try and say its for medical reasons as i ahve damaged my elbow and the bike is helping to build it up again. Jitters
Not being allowed to take bikes to college is a joke.I agree. It doesn't make much sense to me, especially since most everyone is all over this global warming bandwagon.
