craigjames
RimJam red material is by far the softest material i've used, Plazmtic CRV/M material or onza citrus pads are also pretty damn soft.

Ash-Kennard
you could squish rimjam reds with your fingers a few years ago

craigjames
Ok, where would i be able to get rim jam material? Or are they made anymore? You cant buy it anymore, but i cunningly have a block of it at home, good enough for 10+ sets of pads. Although you're in the states aren't you.... Ash-Kennard
alternatively, pm wally on here. he used to sell them, you might get lucky and he may have some laying around
cai
Neco Reds are stupidly soft. Getting the softest pads available won't necessarily mean you'll have a good brake, many of the harder compound pads would preform better. sstein
Why would you want them? Rim jams were sh*t!
craigjames
Being honest the pads were too soft, they worked really well, but broke up unless you had only a small amount of material in the backings. Get some Plaz crm's, TNN lgm's or some onza citrus pads, all pretty much the same, nice and reasonbly soft, work well on a smooth rim or a dead grind. Do you have a grind? Jan Tore
I'll borrow this thread.Got a semi-grind on my rear rim. For best possible bite, do I want a very soft pad then? Also, my front disc is slightly bent, any disc you can recommend me?/Jan Tore
indianatrials
Yer, i have a light grind not sharp or dull really just in between. I have crms but they arent that great for some reason. And theyre alomost gone.Being honest the pads were too soft, they worked really well, but broke up unless you had only a small amount of material in the backings.
