Winnie
Now then everyone. I'm a new boy on the forum and i'm after some opinions.I was into trials for many years but, for various reasons, stopped riding about 5 years ago. Over the last year or so i've been getting back into general mountain biking and been fooling around the streets and getting the bug again for trials. so, i thought lets get a more suitable bike for trials and have some fun with it.I've ended up buying a second hand hot pink Base TA26 for very cheap off a friend which is in very good condition with the intention of spraying the frame because, well, its pink!! However, i got my hands on it yesterday and i've stripped it down ready for respraying and now i've taken a bit of a shine to the colour and don't know whether to spray it or not.So, i was wondering what the general opinion is for a pink Base/bike? I'm starting to like it as it is but i'm not sure whether i should stick with my original plan and spray it or stay with it as pink?! I'm just not sure if i'm cool enough or good enough to ride a pink bike! Any thoughts?
~Samsam~
It's a good colour, and it's not feminine on a bike, just daring As long as it's a bright pink and not slightly purple or sparkely otherwise that might be a neg.Post pictures? And which part of North Yorkshire you from? Possibly one of the most boring places on the planet i dare say!
Ben John-Hynes
Not many, if any, pink production trials frames out there. So they're a rare find. Keep it, get all black parts and just have the pink frame. would look amazing!

The forks are black so it'd make sense i reckon.

Winnie
Well, i've bottled it and ended up getting it sprayed. For some reason i just couldn't totally get on board with the pink so i've had it sprayed. It still needs a fair few finishing touches such as a different seat and a couple of other things but otherwise i'm fairly pleased with my first attempt at putting a bike together in such a long time. I'm sure there's plenty better but it's a start back in to the swing of things.Sorry for the shocking quality photos.
