Horizontal Drop Outs On Stock

Hi everyone. I was planning to go for horizontal drop outs some time soon, go for rockman or a stinger frame or similar. I have got a king and a heavy duty axle, the problem is would I be able to run it as the "fun" bolts are 12mm in diameter, snail cams only go up to 10mm, so would I need to drill out extra 2mm in a snail cam? Would my bolts fit into the drop outs? I think they should, because they supposed to be the same width as the vertical ones. Never ran verticals before so I dont know much.

Thanks.

Also I have seen Stan Shaw running king on his hydroxx in a video with snail cams.

Yes and yes.

All Stan does is use one snail cam on the drive side to get chain tension, then moves the wheel to the centre by hand and tighten the other side, works a treat!
