RossMcd
Hey..My magura Louise has lacked hold for a long time now.. And I have tried so many times to sort it and get it working with the same outcome every time. It never has held well since i got the bike really.. The only time it actually holds is when its pouring with rain.. Where then the back brake doesnt work so Im kinda in a Lose lose situation.. At one point I used to pour water on it before every ride but it would lose its hold gradually throughout the day. I have tried sanding the pads and rotor down and that hasnt worked either.Has anyone got any suggestions that may get my brake working to a good standard?Any sort of help is appreciated Thanks! 3dd
Maybe you need to replace either of them, are they in good condition? Dont sand the rotor, just the pads. Also: sand pads, clean with some cloth soaked with some water, and burn them (pads). Or do what post above says, sounds prety good.
